You can join an opportunity that has a low start up fee but these usually come with you having to purchase their products on a monthly reoccurring basis. Depending on the services you chose to sign up with, you can probably get those for less than $50 a month.
There are numerous ways to market online that do not cost anything. You can write articles, make videos, write blog posts, participate in forums, be active on social media sites, etc.
All in all, you can have a profitable business on a shoestring budget but it will take you much longer. If you want to have a successful business online you will have to invest in your education in order to learn the methods, the skills and the principles of marketing. Luckily, starting an online business is a lot less than an offline business.
